Shows and Pages

Tip

Templates should be imported into shows ahead of time by the designer. This ensure that operators have quick access to the show's templates, and use the correct templates for the show.

Creating a Page

A page is an instance of a template

Creating a page from the Template Manager is a quick and efficient process so the Operator can run the show easily. To create a Page from a template, when the template does not includes layers, or it is not a Singular Composition:

1. Open the Template Manager ( ) at the top left of the Playlist Window.
2. Double click on the desired Template - this will create a Page in the Playlist, you can see the Page added in the dimmed background.

To create a Page using a template, when the template does includes layers, or it is a Singular Composition:

1. Open the Template Manager at the top left of the playlist window.
2. You will see a small arrow next to the template in the Template Manager. Clicking on it will expose the different layers under the level. Or in Singular terms: the sub-compositions of the Singular Composition.

3. Double click on the desired template - this will create a page in the playlist, you can see the page added in the dimmed background.

   Info

   You cannot create a page from a level that has layers, or from a composition that has sub-compositions.

Tip

The page will be added to the playlist at the background which is dimed. to see clearly that the page is added you can close the Template manager and see the add page under the playlist in studio main interface.
